Posters

Any BioCreative Challenge Workshop participant (meaning a registered person who has paid a registration fee for the BioCreative Challenge Workshop) will be able to submit up to five different abstracts via the online submission system.

Participants will be required to select a Team ID and a Track for each abstract. The tracks to select from are as follows:
  • BioC
  • CHEMDNER patents
  • Chemical-disease relation
  • BEL
  • Interactive Curation
  • Other*
* Within the latter track (Other) we invite workshop participants to submit poster abstracts that are not directly related to topics covered by the Biocreative V tracks but are relevant to the field of biomedical text mining. Among others, topics within this track include biomedical/chemical text mining, information extraction/retrieval, named entity recognition, biocuration, bio-ontologies, crowdsourcing, relation extraction, literature data integration, big data in the health domain, text pre-processing of scientific literature and clinical records, biomedical question answering, text classification.

Poster Instructions
  • Posters will be presented by the authors and displayed at the cicCartuja main hall of the first floor.
  • Sessions will take place throughout the workshop, as shown in the agenda.
  • No reference will appear on poster boards, hang your poster on any spot available.
  • The maximum size of poster boards is 120 cm × 120 cm.
  • No on-site poster printing service is available.
  • There will be pins available for hanging the posters on the boards.
  • Please note that authors are responsible for putting up the posters on the corresponding board and day, as well as removing them at the end of each session.
